'Opening the gate to success'

Our tailored curriculum comprises all the planned activities that we organise in order to promote children's learning and personal development.  It includes not only the formal requirements of the National Curriculum and the EFYS statutory framework, but has also the range of extra-curricular activities that enrich children's experiences, and the 'hidden curriculum', or what the children learn from the way they are valued and expected to behave.

We aim to teach children how to develop responsible approaches to their learning and promote the key values of ambition, respect and kindness.  Our curriculum is underpinned by these values and is the means by which we achieve our objectives of equipping children with the knowledge and skills to be successful and enthusiastic learners at Prettygate Infant and Junior Schools.
